Some questions I must ask of myself on this, the eve of the birth of a new blog: Am I really starting a new blog? Am I really this far behind the rest of the cyber-savvy knitting community? Did I really just purchase a Canon Powershot A560 in order to satiate an unbearable need to take pictures of my knitting projects and post them on the internet?
The answer to all these questions, and probably more involving my lack of sanity, is a resounding “Yes.” I am now a knitblogger. I give up. You people have sucked me into your tawdry web, and I am stuck but good. I actually spent a good hour yesterday in the courtyard of my apartment building with my Pentax, taking pictures of assorted knitting sundries in front of several frat guys and their sorority arm-candy, which I plan to develop, painstakingly scan onto my boyfriend’s computer, resize, upload to Flickr, and…what was I talking about?
I blame Ravelry.
